We are a glass manufacturer, not a trading company. The distinction is not marketing. It decides who controls your specification, who answers when quality is wrong, and whether the price you pay contains a coordination margin you never agreed to.
Everything below describes what we do ourselves, on our own floor.
What we make
Our core production line is pressed soda-lime glass — the same material as drinking bottles and window glass. We focus on candle containers and drinkware:
| Product line | Typical formats | Application |
|---|---|---|
| Candle jars | 155 ml, 265–315 ml usable fill and similar | Container candles, home fragrance |
| Candle holders | Turned, pressed, plated | Taper and pillar candles, table settings |
| Drinking glasses | Tumblers with a range of rim finishes | Retail programmes, multi-brand stores |
| Square jars | Faceted and plain | Premium candle and spice lines |
| Ashtrays | Pressed | Hospitality and export programmes |
Multiple standard products are available in stock, which matters when you need to launch quickly or test a market before committing to custom development.
Processes we run in-house
This is the list we would give a serious buyer, because knowing which processes are ours and which are subcontracted is the first question worth asking any supplier.
Forming
Pressed forming with steel moulds. We make moulds in our own tool room, which means design iteration is fast and mould condition is something we control rather than coordinate. For custom shapes we start from an existing mould base wherever the geometry is close, which reduces both cost and lead time substantially.
Multi-colour silk-screen printing
Ceramic and organic inks pushed through mesh screens and kiln-fired onto the glass. Set-up for new artwork is done in-house. Fired ink is durable and survives handling and washing, which is why we use it rather than pad printing for anything that will be washed.
Decal application and kiln firing
For low-volume custom branding where a screen set-up is not justified. The practical route for a first production run with your own artwork.
Colour spraying
Opaque and translucent colour layers fired onto the glass body. Our high-temperature white spray is rated for the wax temperatures used in container candles and is stable under prolonged heat.
Acid frosting
Chemical etching for a uniform matte surface, used where a premium feel is needed and fingerprints need to be hidden.
Electroplating and engraving
Metallic coating and carved relief for premium gift positioning. Longer lead time than any other finish, and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth the cost for your price band.
Quality control, stage by stage
Quality is determined at four stages, not at a final inspection. Details of each stage are set out in our article on quality control stages, but in summary:
- Raw material and batch preparation — batch colour against an approved physical reference, melting temperature logged and stable, batch records retained so a problematic batch can be traced
- Forming — first-article measurement at batch start, dimensional checks at defined intervals, mould cycle count recorded
- Decoration — written artwork approval before the run, first decorated pieces inspected before continuing, colour checked under standardised lighting
- Firing, annealing and packing — firing and annealing logged per batch, thermal shock test on samples, packing verified against the agreed standard, carton count reconciled against the packing list
Annealing is the one we will not compromise on. Glass that is not slow-cooled to relieve internal stress looks perfect at the factory and fails weeks later in a customer\’s home, usually over a lit candle. We anneal every piece and keep the cycle records. Ask any supplier about annealing and the quality of the answer tells you more than anything else in this article.
Compliance
We work to the requirements of the destination market, and the specific limits matter more than a generic certificate. Tell us the destination country and we will supply test reports covering:
- Lead and cadmium migration
- Food contact safety, where the jar may hold anything consumable
- Thermal shock resistance
- Any market-specific labelling or documentation requirements
Certificates are issued against your market\’s limits, not generic ones, because a report that does not match your regulator\’s thresholds is worth nothing at your customs desk.
OEM and ODM
We support both. OEM — you supply the specification and we manufacture to it. ODM — we can develop a jar shape and specification from your market position and target price band, then produce it to the agreed specification with tooling owned per the terms we set out before any payment.
For custom development, read our article on tooling costs and ownership before committing. The ten points that should be in writing are listed there, and we put all of them in our tooling agreement.
Buying direct, and what it changes
Buying from the factory instead of an intermediary removes a layer of coordination. Your contract, your bill of lading, your payment and your production all sit with the same organisation.
In practice that means the specification you agree is the specification we produce. When something is wrong, your complaint reaches the people who can fix it rather than a coordinator who can only forward it. And the price you pay is the cost of the glass plus the work, not that plus a margin for arranging it.
Visiting
We are based in Shandong and we welcome buyers who want to see the production floor before placing an order.
This is worth doing on a first significant order. Ask us, arrange a visit, walk the line, look at the mould room and the QC station. A supplier who is confident in their operation has no reason to decline, and you will learn more in two hours on the floor than from any brochure.
Start a conversation
If you are working on a candle programme, a drinkware line, or a private-label project, tell us the specification and the target volume and we will tell you straight away whether it fits a production plan.
Send us your requirements or read more about our customization options.
